Candy is Dandy!!!
Yesterday there was a double feature on tv of Willy Wonka goodness, and although I love Johnny Depp & Tim Burton...the new version just can't hold a candle to the original Charlie & the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder.
So glad you guys think so too & aren't going to throw rotten tomatoes at me for saying anything against Tim & Johnny... Love em dearly... but it's like that old childhood rhyme: make new friends but keep the old...one is silver but the other's gold!
