It's such a waste of money going out to get something I think I need for a project...and really gets my feathers ruffled to find a week later it was right there in my 'stash'...especially in this economy.So here I am...hoping to motivate my fellow stitchers & crafters in whatever craft you may do to organize a little.
This is the 'after shot' ...and yes, it took forever...but I did a little at a time over the past few months. My hands would be killing if I'd wound all this at once!
I have such a great calm feeling seeing everything in order.... not that I'll be able to keep it that way...but living in the moment, right here, right now...& feeling so feng shui!:o)

LOL! I'm glad I inspired you! Someone had mentioned to me that they cross stitch...so have organized their floss by the number rather than the color. I embroider by the seat of my pants...so have set this up like a painter's palette with the colors grouped together. I can still find them by the number too if need be.
